My Healing Journey- what it uncovered
December 2024: At first, I thought the eczema might be a radiation burn from my mobile phone, which I often hold in my right hand while working. But something didn’t sit right—why only my right hand? In energy medicine, the right side of the body is linked to masculine energy and giving. I instinctively knew that this wasn’t just a physical issue; it was also an emotional wound manifesting through my skin. My body was holding onto the trauma of toxic, abusive experiences with distorted masculine energy throughout my life.

For much of my life, I have experienced the harsh side of masculinity—from abusive stepfathers to violent and emotionally abusive boyfriends and, more recently, verbally and mentally abusive business partners. I spent 15 years training under a 7th Dan black belt world champion, the head of karate in the UK. He taught me self-defence, and I carry those survival lessons with me. Without his guidance, I might not be here today; his training literally saved my life on two separate occasions during physical attacks.
